Guardians issue apology to Red Sox’s Jarren Duran after fan misconduct
CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Guardians have identified a fan who the team says “violated our fan conduct policy” with taunts toward Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran during the seventh inning of a game between the teams on Sunday.Duran had to be restrained by coaches, umpires and eventually by teammate Cedanne Rafaela as he pointed to the fan along the first-base line of the stands at Progressive Field.
