Em Porto Alegre, o Cruzeiro se viu muito prejudicado com uma expulsão logo nos primeiros minutos da partida contra o Internacional. O árbitro Marcelo de Lima Henrique aplicou o vermelho direto para o zagueiro Jonathan Jesus em lance envolvendo o atacante Wesley.
“No final de semana, o Cruzeiro teve um jogador incorretamente expulso no início da partida contra o Internacional”, resumiu Tostão em texto publicado para a Folha de S.Paulo.
Dali em diante, o Colorado dominou as principais ações e venceu com tranquilidade por 3 a 0. Revoltado, Alexandre Mattos, CEO de futebol do Cruzeiro, usou as redes sociais para protestar contra a expulsão.
“Assalto à mão armada”, escreveu Mattos, nas redes sociais, seguido de um palavrão. O dirigente apagou a postagem posteriormente.
Criticado por Tostão, árbitro é afastado pela CBF
Marcelo de Lima Henrique e Daiane Muniz, árbitros de campo e vídeo, respectivamente,não estarão na próxima escala de trabalho. A Confederação Brasileira de Futebol entendeu que os profissionais erraram na decisão tomada no duelo entre Inter e Cruzeiro.
Desta forma, ambos passarão por novas instruções, com o objetivo de que, quando escalados novamente, não cometam os mesmos equívocos.

Pela Copa Sul-Americana, o Cruzeiro enfrenta o Mushuc Runa, às 21h30 (de Brasília), no Mineirão, pela segunda rodada do Grupo E. Punido pela Conmebol por uso de sinalizadores, o time mineiro não contará com a presença dos seus torcedores..
Vale lembrar que na semana passada, a Raposa perdeu para Unión Santa Fe, na Argentina. Por isso, vencer hoje é fundamental para seguir com chances de classificação.
