A segunda rodada do Brasileirão irritou Tostão pelos inúmeros erros da arbitragem. Em sua tradicional coluna na Folha de S.Paulo, o ídolo do Cruzeiro classificou como grave as decisões que foram tomadas no último final de semana.

No jogo da Raposa, em Porto Alegre, entendeu como injusta a expulsão do zagueiro Jonathan Jesus. Da mesma forma, entendeu que o Palmeiras acabou indiretamente beneficiado com a marcação de um pênalti sobre Raphael Veiga. O Verdão, que fazia um jogo duro com o Sport, acabou vencendo por 2 a 1.

“No final de semana, o Cruzeiro teve um jogador incorretamente expulso no início da partida contra o Internacional e o Palmeiras venceu o Sport por 2×1 no último minuto, em decorrência de um pênalti muito mal marcado”, escreveu Tostão.

Dias depois, a Federação Paulista de Futebol reconheceu, em ofício enviado ao presidente do São Paulo, Julio Casares, que o lance capital que definiu a desclassificação do Tricolor foi fruto de um erro.

“A FPF entende que o árbitro de campo deveria ter sido chamado para realizar a revisão no VAR e que a marcação do pênalti foi equivocada”, diz trecho do documento assinado por Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos, presidente da Federação Paulista de Futebol.

Palmeiras na Libertadores

Nesta quarta-feira (9), o Palmeiras enfrenta o Cerro Porteño, do Paraguai, às 21h30 (horário de Brasília), no Allianz Parque, pela segunda rodada do Grupo G da Conmebol Libertadores. Depois de vencer o Sporting Crystal, o Verdão espera hoje fazer a lição de casa.
