Myslím, že jo. Ten listopad byl už takový, že to bylo strašně dlouhé pro nás všechny. Ten rok (2023), kdy jsem letěla z Cancúnu z Turnaje mistryň, tak to už bylo na hraně. Teď se odehraje Amerika a pak už to bude. To je ještě dobrý termín.“
Jaká teď budete fanynka?
Byla jsem už ve vlaku trochu nervózní. Je to pro mě horší, než kdybych hrála. Budu dělat vše, co můžu.
Zůstanete až do soboty, kdy se hraje se Španělskem?
Jo. Martin Janoušek, fyzioterapeut našeho týmu, je i můj osobní fyzioterapeut. Budu tu s ním dál cvičit, dostala jsem i týmovou akreditaci.

Kdy naposledy jste fandila v hledišti?
Pamatuju se, že jsme byli jednou na Fed Cupu s tátou v Praze. Bylo mi asi devět. To bylo podle mě naposledy, kdy jsem se byla dívat na tenis, aniž bych sama hrála.
Jak na tom jste tedy zdravotně?
Lepší se to. Včera jsem už byla hrát docela normální trénink a bylo to dobré. Měli jsme z toho všichni radost, ale nechceme to uspěchat.
Turnaje máte v plánu hrát kdy?
Mám přihlášené tak nějak všechno a podle toho, jak se bude ruka vyvíjet dál, tak se budeme rozhodovat. Myslím, že Řím (od 6. května) ještě bude dost brzo. Ale mám nějaký cíl, který bych chtěla stihnout, a to by asi byla Paříž. K tomu to budeme směřovat. Ale teď jsem vděčná za jeden normální trénink, takže představa turnajů je pro mě ještě hrozně vzdálená. Paříž bych chtěla určitě, a když to půjde dřív, o to líp.
Na začátku sezony jste vypadala fyzicky v ráži, dávala jste spoustu es. Jak jste se cítila?
Docela dobře. Ale teď jsem už asi dva měsíce neservírovala, takže nevím, jak to bude. Bohužel je to něco za něco. Člověk neposiluje svaly, ale já mám s ramenem problém v kloubu. Teď se zaměřujeme, abych posílila spíš lopatku, která mi rameno musí držet, abych zápasy zvládla. Protože jinak to je fakt dost bolestivý a hrát každý zápas pod prášky nechci. Zastavovat se na začátku sezony je samozřejmě blbý, ale pro mě byla představa, že by mi zase někdo řezal do těla, nepřípustná.
Musela jste v přípravě udělat změny?
Tenis hraju minimálně, dvakrát týdně po hodině a jinak cvičím, dělám kondici. Včerejší tenisový trénink už byl dobrý, vypadal normálně. Takže doufám, že by to mohlo být dobrý, protože další operaci už fakt nechci.
Doma se teď nenudíte?
Ani ne. Koupila jsem si štěně, to nás zaměstnává dost. Je to italský chrt. Už spolu i chodíme běhat. A cvičení mi taky zabere dost. Na Štvanici jsem, jako kdybych normálně trénovala. Spíš je to cvičení takové nezáživné. Musím se soustředit, abych ty pohyby dělala správně. Je to na palici.
