

A new air accident has shocked American society, 24 hours after the crash of a helicopter into the Hudson River in New York. On Friday, April 11, a small plane crashed with three crew members on board in the morning in Boca Raton, South Florida, near a major interstate highway and railroad tracks, authorities said.
In recent statements from local authorities, they have reported through social media that there are no survivors in the accident and that several roads near Boca Raton Airport have been closed near Interstate 95. Media outlets in the south and east of the Florida peninsula reported that the plane was on fire, with a large plume of smoke and firefighters were responding.

Mayor Scott Singer confirmed in a statement that “a plane crash occurred earlier today within our community,” and asked for “patience and respect for the families involved as investigations continue.” Authorities have cordoned off the area to carry out the expert work and take the bodies to the appropriate facilities for identification work.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported the crashed aircraft as a Cessna 310 with three people on board. The impact time was around 10:20 AM after taking off from Boca Raton Airport bound for Tallahassee. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating, with the latter leading the investigation.

Witnesses at the scene indicated that the plane apparently pushed a car onto the train tracks at the time of impact, causing the tracks to be closed. According to the Boca Raton Fire Department, the person inside the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
On Thursday, April 10, it was announced that a helicopter crashed into the Hudson River off Manhattan, New York City, killing six people, five of them Spanish tourists who were in the city to celebrate a birthday.
