No início desta semana, a Record News firmou acordo com a Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) para a transmissão do Campeonato Paulista Feminino pelas próximas três temporadas. A edição deste ano tem previsão para o início no próximo dia 7 de maio.
Presidente do canal paulista, Anderson Souza comemorou em nota, o acordo para a transmissão da competição até 2027.
“Ter a parceria com a Federação, que tem o futebol feminino mais importante do cenário nacional, que é São Paulo, para a gente é excelente. E levar para o público da Record News, gratuitamente, esse esporte que vem crescendo a cada dia mais”, disse Souza.
Segundo o Notícias da TV, para 2025 a competição alterou o seu formato de disputa. Dessa forma, o torneio do futebol feminino passará a ter somente 8 equipes. As quais são: AD Taubaté, Corinthians, Ferroviária, Palmeiras, Realidade Jovem, Red Bull Bragantino, Santos e São Paulo.
A competição terá 14 rodadas, com as equipes se enfrentando em duelos de ida e volta. Por fim, as quatro melhores alcançaram as semifinais, que também terão dois confrontos para definir os finalistas. Portanto, a decisão tem data prevista para ocorrer no dia 14 de dezembro.
Enquanto as transmissões da Record News na competição será de uma partida por cada rodada. Sendo assim, o canal exibirá 14 jogos, antes da fase de mata-mata do torneio.
Record News segue passos da Globo
O acerto da Record News com a FPF, vem na esteira em que a Rede Globo fechou contrato para transmitir os principais torneios do futebol feminino no Brasil. Neste cenário, vale destacar que a emissora da Família Marinho detém os direitos de transmissão do Brasileirão Feminino e dos jogos da seleção brasileira.
Em relação a Record News, além da Paulistão Feminino, o canal fechou acordo para exibir também a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Feminino, a Copinha Feminina, que caminha para sua terceira edição, tendo os times Flamengo e Fluminense como os campeões em 2023 e 2024, respectivamente.
Para finalizar, o time do Palmeiras é o atual campeão paulista no futebol feminino, com título em cima do Corinthians, que por sua vez, venceu a edição de 2023.
