Wagner Fernando Velloso indicou uma torcida do futebol brasileiro que sempre apoia o time. A opinião foi proferida em vídeo publicado nas redes sociais, quando o ex-goleiro falava sobre Richard Ríos.
O meio-campista fez o gol da vitória do Palmeiras por 1 a 0 sobre o Cerro Porteño. Depois de balançar as redes, o colombiano fez um gesto e exigiu silêncio por parte da própria torcida.
“Ríos (foi) o grande nome da partida. Fez gol, participou, desarmou, armou o time, teve oportunidade para fazer outros gols. A bola está chegando. Ele tem personalidade, mas não precisa disso. Não precisa disso”, iniciou Velloso.
“A gente lembra até que o torcedor está sempre apoiando, está sempre do lado. Comprar uma briga com a torcida, numa hora dessas”, acrescentou.
Velloso também reconheceu que o momento é de pressão sobre o time comandado pelo técnico Abel Ferreira.
“Realmente existe uma cobrança, uma falta de identificação do time com o torcedor. Não é o momento de o Ríos provocar o torcedor”, analisou.
Velloso citou exemplos recentes para sustentar a opinião sobre Richard Ríos. “Eu lembro do Breno Lopes. Acho que contra o São Paulo. Fez algo parecido e esteve na sede da torcida para pedir desculpas”, lembrou.
“O Ríos até antecipou. Acabou o jogo, ele foi lá no torcedor. Realmente ficou um clima ruim. Era o alvo do torcedor. Não precisava”, reforçou Velloso.
O comentarista esportivo afirmou que o torcedor do Palmeiras vai estar ao lado se o atleta melhorar o desempenho em campo.
“O Ríos está sendo cobrado? Está e é normal. Falhou em jogos importantes, principalmente contra o rival. E aí vem cobrança”, disse Velloso.
“É concentração, aumentar o nível e continuar com boas atuações. Jogando bem vai ter o torcedor do lado”, finalizou.

O futebolista concedeu entrevista após o fim do jogo válido pela 2ª rodada da fase de grupos da Libertadores.
“Aconteceu de cabeça quente. O pessoal sabe que não sou assim, não falo nada para a torcida. Quero pedir desculpas. Todos vieram de longe para apoiar o time. Tenho muito respeito por este clube. Vou dar sempre a vida”, declarou Ríos.
