Die Formel E ist zurück in Miami. Und das Qualifying des 5. Rennens der Saison sorgt für einige Überraschungen.
Zum ersten Mal in seiner Karriere holt Nissan-Pilot Norman Nato die Pole-Position! Im finalen Duell setzt er sich gegen Andretti-Fahrer Jake Dennis durch. In der zweiten Startreihe landen Antonio Felix da Costa (Porsche) und Robin Frijns (Envision).
[–>„Ich liebe das im Sport, wenn du harte Momente hast und dran bleibst, kannst du auch wieder Erfolge feiern“, sagt Nato nach dem Qualifying. Er sichert sich mit der Pole die ersten Punkte in der aktuellen Formel-E-Saison 2024/25.
Der aktuell führende der Fahrerwertung, Oliver Rowland (Nissan) schafft es ebenso wenig über die Gruppenphase hinaus wie Youngster und Überflieger Taylor Barnard von McLaren. Auch Porsche-Titelverteidiger Pascal Wehrlein scheitert knapp.
So läuft das Qualifying in der Formel E ab
Zuerst kommt die Gruppenphase, in der das Starterfeld in zwei 11er-Gruppen sortiert wird – für die Aufteilung wird die Position in der Fahrerweltmeisterschaft herangezogen. Mit 300 kW in einer 10-minütigen Session werden Rundenzeiten gefahren. Die vier Schnellsten aus jeder Gruppe kommen dann in die Duell-Phase.
Die besten acht treten anschließend im Viertelfinale in einem K.o.-System gegeneinander an – bei 350 kW und seit dieser Saison mit Allradantrieb. Die vier Schnellsten ziehen ins Halbfinale ein. Das gleiche Verfahren gilt dann für das Halbfinale – die beiden schnellsten Fahrer machen im Finale die Julius Bär Pole-Position aus.
Formel-E-Spektakel in Miami: Agüero und Beckham-Sohn im Rennfieber
Die Halbfinalisten reihen sich auf den Plätzen drei und vier ein, die Viertelfinalisten zwischen Platz fünf und acht – je nach Rundenzeit.
