Melsungen mit Torwart-Oldie ins Handball-Pokalfinale
Lichtlein arbeitet seit 2022 als Torwart-Trainer für die Nordhessen. Weil der polnische Nationalkeeper Adam Morawski eine Knie-Verletzung hat und kein anderer Torwart zur Verfügung stand, stellte sich Unterfranke „Lütti“ zur als Notfall-Aushilfe Verfügung und nahm auf der Bank Platz.
Lichtlein wird Zeuge einer sensationellen Startphase. Melsungen, immerhin Herbstmeister der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga und aktuell Tabellenzweiter hinter den Füchsen Berlin, liegt nach neun Minuten 5:7 hinten gegen den mutig auftretenden Zweitliga-Dritten und seinen Trainer Stephan Flohr.
