Walter Casagrande está convicto de que o Palmeiras vai brigar forte pelo título do Brasileirão em 2025. Ao analisar o triunfo incisivo do alviverde sobre o Corinthians, neste sábado (12), ele enalteceu a força do plantel ostentado por Abel Ferreira, e credenciou a equipe entre os postulantes na Série A.
Na concepção dele, o clube se movimentou muito bem no mercado da bola, e vem passando por um processo de reformulação gradativo, e tem começado a se encaixar novamente.
“O Palmeiras atropelou o Corinthians em 20 minutos matou o jogo, com o gol de Martínez. O Palmeiras dominou a partida todinha, poderia ter feito três, quatro, sem problemas. Parece que o Abel encontrou o jeito do time jogar”, iniciou Casagrande.
“A diferença jogadores e comissão técnica entre Corinthians e Palmeiras é enorme. Qual é o objetivo do Palmeiras no Campeonato Brasileiro? É ser campeão. Vai lutar pelo título. E do Corinthians? Ainda não sei”, complementou o ex-jogador.
Casagrande já questionou elenco do Timão
Em posicionamento dado no início da semana no “Galvão e Amigos”, Casagrande disse não acreditar no time do Corinthians para título do Brasileirão, justamente por ser crítico ao cenário de falta de reposição da equipe em certos setores do campo.
Conforme já citado anteriormente, ele reforçou a opinião de que o alvinegro tem um bom time titular, mas peca bastante quando o assunto é elenco, por este motivo, não conseguirá fazer frente para outros rivais mais bem munidos neste critério.
Liderança provisória
Com o triunfo computado no Dérbi, o Palmeiras manteve a invencibilidade no Brasileirão, chegando agora aos sete pontos somados em nove disputados, possuindo três tentos de saldo, mas ainda aguarda o fechamento da rodada para saber se assegura o posto.
O próximo desafio dos comandados de Abel Ferreira é o Internacional, concorrente direto no topo da tabela. O compromisso está fixado para a quarta-feira (16), no Beira-Rio. Até o momento, o Colorado ainda não foi derrotado na temporada 2025.
