Felipe Melo deu as boas-vindas a mais um jogador promissor lançado pelo Fluminense nesta semana durante o confronto com o San José-BOL, que terminou em goleada do time carioca por 5 a 0, pela segunda rodada da fase de grupos da Copa Sul-Americana.
O comentarista fez muitos elogios ao jovem lateral-esquerdo Léo Jance, lançado pelo técnico Renato Gaúcho para estrear como jogador profissional no Flu.
“Que grata surpresa o menino de Xerém, o Léo Jance. Que grata surpresa. Tem muitos bons atletas na base do Fluminense. Fico feliz de ver eles tendo oportunidades. Tinham outros atletas no banco de reservas também. Xerém é uma fábrica de craques”, exaltou Felipe Melo, em vídeo publicado nas redes sociais.

Existe o psicológico de um garoto jogando a primeira vez, no Maracanã, com a camisa de um clube grande como o Fluminense. Não é simples, não é fácil. Entrou, jogou bem, atacou quando teve que atacar, defendeu, deu porrada, chutou a bola para fora… Gostei muito desse primeiro jogo como profissional do Léo Jance. Parabéns, garoto!”, disse Felipe Melo, sobra a partida do jovem na Copa Sul-Americana.
Renato Gaúcho garante confiança no atleta
Léo Jance iniciou a carreira na base do São Paulo e passou ainda por Palmeiras, antes de chegar ao Fluminense, em 2023.
“A gente vai procurar passar confiança para ele, tranquilidade. É a estreia dele no profissional, em um jogo importante. No início, ele tentou fazer tudo ao mesmo tempo, mas é normal por causa da idade, por causa da vontade. Mas ele foi bem assim como os demais companheiros”, afirmou Renato Gaúcho.
