Caio Ribeiro não subestima forte candidato ao título do Brasileirão: “Tem potencial”

Caio Ribeiro avalia que, conforme o que foi projetado, Flamengo, Palmeiras e Internacional devem lutar pelo título do Brasileirão. Embora o Colorado tenha caído cinco posições, apenas dois pontos separam o clube gaúcho dos rivais. Neste cenário, apesar do início irregular, o Botafogo também é visto como o possível quarto integrante dos grupo que vai disputar o troféu nacional.

“Eu acho muito cedo, mas começa a se desenhar aquilo que a gente tinha projetado: Flamengo, Palmeiras e Internacional no pelotão de cima.”, disse Caio Ribeiro, no Globo Esporte.

“O Botafogo tem potencial de chegar nesse grupo também.”, acrescentou.

Vencendo o Corinthians com autoridade, o Palmeiras mostrou um rendimento diferente em relação à final do Campeonato Paulista. Diante das contratações feitas em 2025 e o trabalho de Abel Ferreira, Caio Ribeiro acredita que o triunfo fez jus ao nível do time alviverde.

Ao contrário do potencial atrelado ao Botafogo, Caio Ribeiro não emitiu uma previsão semelhante envolvendo o São Paulo. Tropeçando contra o Cruzeiro, o Tricolor segue lidando com críticas, algo que fez o ex-jogador ressaltar o alerta sobre o trabalho de Luis Zubeldía.

“O torcedor tá preocupado, não é nem pelo jogo de ontem (domingo) porque era um time mexido e com vários desfalques. É a sequência, que tem a ver com as ideias do Zubeldía. Ele precisa ser mais ousado, mais corajoso e entender o tamanho do São Paulo, principalmente em relação ao que aconteceu na Libertadores.”, avisou.
