Filipe Luís avalia que Pep Guardiola detém um grande status na história do futebol. Levando em conta a revolução protagonizada pelo espanhol, o técnico do Flamengo costumava lidar com dificuldades ao encarar o ex-comandante do Barcelona. Neste cenário, existe uma inspiração envolvendo o legado extraordinário do atual colega de profissão.
“Eu tentei, junto com meu auxiliar, criar um modelo onde a torcida se sentisse identificada, mas principalmente na forma de atacar buscando o que mais me fez sofrer em campo. Quem mais me fez sofrer no campo foi o Guardiola. Ele é a referência, mudou o futebol e nos inspira a todos.”, disse Filipe Luís, em coletiva de imprensa.
“O futebol, hoje, é muito diferente por (influência) dele. E cada treinador jovem vem com ideias e conceitos novos. Eu pelo menos não tenho vergonha nenhuma de falar que eu copio treinadores de fora, do próprio Brasil, coisas que eu acho interessante.”, acrescentou.
Criticado pela decisão de poupar jogadores na Libertadores, Filipe Luís está ciente da pressão à frente do Flamengo. Destacando que não se achou o “novo Guardiola” pela sequência invicta, o técnico avalia que todos os cenários contribuem para o crescimento na função.
“Eu não era o novo Guardiola antes da sequência invicta e nem sou o pior do mundo depois de uma derrota. Essas coisas eu entendo. Quando escolhi vim para o Flamengo e assinei o contrato, eu estava lá em Madri, estava tendo protesto, os torcedores não deixando os jogadores saírem no ônibus.”
“Eu sei para onde eu vi, eu sei o nível de exigência do Flamengo. Eu nunca reclamei disso porque isso, querendo ou não, me fez crescer, me fez ser melhor, me fez pensar, refletir. Eu convivo bem com isso.”, externou.
Confiança na zaga do Flamengo
Conforme visto no triunfo contra o Grêmio, Léo Ortiz e Léo Pereira possuem uma grande importância na construção de jogo do Flamengo. Embora alguns riscos sejam inevitáveis, Filipe Luís confia que os jogadores são capazes de superar eventuais adversidades ao longo dos 90 minutos.
“A coisa da atração eu não gosto, que o adversário venha nos pressionar. Eu não peço isso para eles. Mas um jogador com tanta qualidade, como o Léo Ortiz e o Léo Pereira, eles têm a zona de segurança entre eles e o adversário muito pequena, então eles se sentem confortáveis com o adversário perto deles.”
“Isso são características deles que atraem os jogadores para liberar os espaços, mas eu não peço isso. O que eu passo para eles é a progressão. Talvez eu definiria meu jogo como jogo de progressão.”, afirmou.
