El Barcelona estará en las semifinales de la Champions a pesar de la derrota frente al Borussia de Dortmund. El Barça sufrió mucho más de lo previsto. Los alemanes metieron miedo en los primeros minutos con el tempranero gol de Guirassy de penalti que hizo soñar al muro amarillo con una remontada histórica. Con un tanto a los once minutos se podía pensar en todo y sobre todo viendo a un rival que les concedía demasiado. Con el 2-0 y el 3-1 los alemanes mantuvieron vivo el sueño, pero al final no pudieron dar la vuelta al marcador.
Minuto 11.
El Barcelona entró al partido como si la fiesta no fuera con ellos. Para no sufrir con una renta de cuatro goles como traía tenía que jugar muy concentrado, manteniendo el balón en su poder y no cometiendo errores que pudieran generar ocasiones a un rival que ya se presuponía que saldría en esos primeros minutos a por todas. El Barcelona lo hizo prácticamente todo al revés. Jugó con excesiva precipitación en ataque buscando ese gol que supuestamente cerrara la eliminatoria.
Minuto 49.
Sus delanteros no estaban finos, no lo estuvieron en todo el partido, y lo único que conseguían era perder el balón a las primeras de cambio. Sin Pedri en el terreno de juego por decisión de Flick que optó por reservarlo, ahí nadie supo dar la pausa al partido que necesitaba. Y el Borussia se lo empezó a creer. Sobre todo cuando se puso por delante en el marcador por un inocente penalti de Szczesny a Gross que tuvo que ser revisado por el VAR, no por la acción del portero, sino por un posible fuera de juego previo que no fue tal.
Minuto 54.
El Borussia apretó el acelerador y el Barça siguió igual: Impreciso e incapaz de crear ocasiones de peligro sin chutar una vez a puerta entre los tres palos. En apenas cuarto de hora, los alemanes ya habían realizado cinco remates, cuatro de ellos entre los tres palos. Adeyemi se mostraba con el jugador más incisivo y daba la sensación de que el segundo del Borussia podía caer en cualquier momento.
No fue así. Con el paso de los minutos el Barça fue mejorando en su juego. No tanto por el peligro, porque sus tres de arriba no tenían el día, pero sí haciendo lo que debía. Posesiones más largas y jugando sobre todo en campo rival donde el peligro es menor. Y así se fueron al descanso con la sensación de que podía haber sido mucho peor, aunque quedaba la salida del Dortmund en la segunda parte que debía ser una guerra si cuartel.
Minuto 76.
Los alemanes cumplieron el guión y salieron dispuestos a meter miedo. Y bien que lo hicieron. Adeyemi y Gross obligaron a una doble parada de Szczesny que cumplió muy bien con su cometido salvo en la acción del penalti. A la salida del córner, el Dortmund metía el segundo provocando un escalofrío en la culerada. En la mente de muchos aparecieron algunos fantasmas que parecían olvidados.
La suerte, como sucediera el pasado fin de semana en Butarque, se les apareció a los azulgranas en forma de gol en propia puerta. Fermín echó a correr por banda derecha y su pase lo introdujo Bensebaini en su propia portería. Parecía que ahí se acababa el suplicio, pero el Dortmund se volvió a meter en el partido con el tercer gol de Guirassy que provocó el sufrimiento azulgrana durante veinte minutos más.
