Ayrton Senna será objeto de mais uma homenagem. O Estoril, clube do campeonato português, vai usar uma camisa preta cor do primeiro carro que Senna venceu na F1 pela Lotus no circuito da cidade portuguesa em 1984.
A camisa será no jogo contra o Braga pela 30ª rodada do campeonato nacional neste sábado (19). O Estoril fez um vídeo promocional em suas redes sociais.
Piloto correu na Lotus de 1984 a 1987
O fato é que Ayrton Senna correu pela Lotus de 1985 a 1987 em 48 GPs marcando 150 pontos nos campeonatos mundiais desses anos. E além do GP de Portugal, ele venceu outras quatro corridas nessas três temporadas. Foi pela Lotus, por exemplo, que Senna estreou a comemoração com a bandeira do Brasil, ainda na volta de consagração.
Antes da Lotus, Ayrton Senna estreou na F1 pela pequena Toleman em 1984. Depois de deixar a Lotus, Senna assinou com a McLaren onde conquistou seus três títulos mundiais (1988, 1990 e 1991). Ele ainda correu pela Williams onde morreu no dia 1º de maio de 1994.
