And according to palace sources, it’s no coincidence that her resurgence mirrors the legacy of Princess Diana – or that comparisons to Meghan Markle are once again making the rounds.

“She’s inspired by Diana’s work and how the public responded to her,” a royal insider told TMZ. “Kate wants to be that kind of figure. Someone people trust, admire, and feel connected to.”
Her first step? Doubling down on the Shaping Us campaign through the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood – an initiative that’s become a personal mission. The project aims to support healthy development in babies and young children, but it’s about more than just education. Kate reportedly wants to push the campaign worldwide, with the help of some famous faces.

UK TV presenter Holly Willoughby is rumored to be one of the stars Kate’s hoping to bring onboard. The two bonded back in 2015 at the Fostering Excellence Awards and have kept a friendly rapport ever since.
“Holly’s a mum of three, just like Kate, and she’s widely loved in the UK,” the source added.“There’s a real possibility of a team-up – it could be huge for the campaign.”
Meanwhile, across the pond, Meghan Markle’s latest venture involves… artisanal jam. And while the Duchess of Sussex continues building her lifestyle brand in California, some royal observers aren’t shy about the contrast.
“Kate’s doing what the public wants and expects from royalty,” the insider said. “She’s showing what leadership and service look like. She doesn’t need a podcast deal to do it.”
Kate’s comeback also included an emotional visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London – where she received treatment for cancer. She shared her gratitude on Instagram, writing: “We couldn’t have asked for more. The care has been exceptional.”
While King Charles continues his own cancer treatment, Kate’s return to work marks a hopeful turn for the royal family in 2025. If Diana once redefined what it meant to be a modern royal, Kate seems more than ready to take the baton – and carry it even further.
