Daran, dass RB Leipzig nach dem Sieg am vergangenen Freitag in Wolfsburg (3:2) wieder auf Tabellenplatz vier zurückgekehrt ist, hat der Angreifer großen Anteil. Längst tummeln sich die Interessenten für einen Kauf im Sommer. Und die Sachsen haben intern ein Ziel: Sesko soll im Sommer der Rekord-Transfer der Vereinsgeschichte werden.

Die Wahrheit ist aber: RB sagte den Beratern zu, dass der Stürmer in diesem Sommer zu einem Top-Klub gehen darf. Die Summe ist aber frei verhandelbar und soll aus Leipzigs Sicht Richtung 100 Mio. Euro gehen.

Interessenten gibt es genug. Am Freitag saß Christopher Vivell (38) auf der Tribüne in Wolfsburg. Der Sportdirektor von Manchester United hat einen engen Draht zu Sesko, holte ihn als 16-Jährigen nach Salzburg und lotste den Slowenen 2023 mit nach Leipzig. Ab Sommer soll der Stürmer im Old Trafford Tore schießen. Doch auch der FC Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, der FC Arsenal, Liverpool und die AC Mailand geben mächtig Gas.
Kein Wunder, denn Sesko ist eines der größten Sturm-Juwele Europas. In Leipzigs durchwachsener Saison hat er noch einmal einen großen Schritt nach vorn gemacht. Der Slowene steht bereits bei 25 Torbeteiligungen. In der kompletten vergangenen Saison waren es 20.

Das ist ein Fußball-Simulator im Trainingszentrum, in dem auf Rundum-Bildschirmen echte Spielszenen dargestellt werden können.
Doch damit nicht genug. Damit sich sein Gehirn vom Licht-Einfluss erholen kann, trägt Sesko spezielle Brillen mit farbigen Filter-Gläsern.

Das Ergebnis ist beeindruckend: Acht seiner elf Bundesliga-Tore brachten Punkte für Leipzig. Interimstrainer Zsolt Löw (45) schwärmt von seiner Sturm-Kante mit der feinen Technik: „Sesko weiß noch gar nicht, wie gut er eigentlich ist. Ich sage ihm das immer. Wenn der so weitermacht, wird er die Bundesliga sehr bald kaputt schießen.“
Seskos Marktwert schoss aktuell noch einmal in die Höhe, liegt laut transfermarkt.de nun bei 65 Mio. Euro. Die Ablöse, die im Sommer an RB fließt, soll noch viel höher sein …
