Sormani criticou a fala do CEO do Santos, Pedro Martins. O dirigente concedeu uma coletiva ao completar 100 dias no cargo e analisou o momento do Peixe, afirmando que o clube não necessariamente precisa virar uma SAF.
No programa “Opinião Placar”, Sormani rebateu Pedro Martins. Para o comentarista, boa gestão não é o suficiente para salvar o Santos. Inclusive, elegeu apenas Flamengo e Palmeiras como clubes exemplos de gestão no futebol brasileiro.
“Ele falou que o clube não precisa necessariamente virar uma SAF. Ele diz que o clube precisa de boa gestão. Mas com pouco dinheiro? Hoje, Flamengo e Palmeiras têm uma boa gestão sem ser SAFs. Boa gestão adianta para o Flamengo e Palmeiras, porque eles arrecadam. Para o Santos não adianta boa gestão”, afirmou Sormani.
SAF do Santos é o único caminho?
De acordo com Sormani, a boa gestão do Santos tem um teto pela capacidade de arrecadação do clube, que é menor que os citados Flamengo e Palmeiras. Por isso acredita que a única solução para seja a transformação em empresa.
“A boa gestão do Santos tem um teto. Se não tiver SAF, não tem jeito. A saída só pode ser a SAF. Vem um grupo da Arábia, Rússia… compra o clube e dá um aporte financeiro”, disse o comentarista.
Santos tem um bom elenco?
Campeão da Série B 2024, o Peixe ainda não venceu no Brasileirão 2025. São duas derrotas e um empate. Apesar disso, Sormani segue confiando que o time é bom e vai melhorar após a demissão do técnico Pedro Caixinha.
“Eu acho que o Santos tem um elenco muito bom. Falta lateral-direito, um zagueiro reserva. Mas não tem dinheiro. Se fosse uma SAF teria”, finalizou.
