Florian Wirtz könnte Bayer Leverkusen in diesem Sommer verlassen. Ein Angebot zur Verlängerung über 2027 liegt dem deutschen Nationalspieler schon lange vor. Nur die Unterschrift fehlt noch.
Oder zieht es ihn woanders hin? Sollte er nach der Saison gehen wollen, muss ein Interessent mindestens 150 Millionen Euro zahlen.
Hamann: Wirtz zu Man City? „Da will er offenbar nicht hin“
Der FC Bayern will Wirtz unbedingt – schon in diesem Sommer. Auch Real Madrid und Manchester City haben den Edeltechniker vom deutschen Meister ganz oben auf dem Wunschzettel.
Hat einer der drei Top-Klubs gar keine Chance auf Wirtz? TV-Experte Didi Hamann (51) äußert einen Verdacht. „Er kann natürlich in Leverkusen bleiben und seinen Vertrag verlängern. City ist interessiert, aber da will er offenbar nicht hin“, erklärte der ehemalige Top-Star Interview mit „ran“. Warum, das erläuterte er aber nicht.
[–>Auch an einen Spanien-Wechsel von Wirtz glaubt Hamann nicht. „Und ob Real Madrid die Ablöse im Bereich von 150 Millionen Euro zahlen kann oder will, da bin ich mir auch nicht sicher.“
Wer könnte das zahlen? Die Bayern, meint Hamann. „Auf keinen Fall“ würde ein Wechsel aus finanziellen Gesichtspunkten scheitern, so der Sky-Experte. „Im Zweifel wird Adidas helfen, die ein großes Interesse an einem Wechsel zu Bayern haben dürften. Denn nach dem Verlust der deutschen Nationalmannschaft an Nike ist die Bedeutung von Wirtz als Werbeträger für Adidas wahrscheinlich noch mal um einiges gestiegen.“
Adeyemi über seine Auswechslung: „Natürlich war ich sauer“
Und tatsächlich spielt der deutsche Ausrüster laut SPORT BILD-Informationen eine wichtige Rolle im Wirtz-Poker. Denn: Die Bosse denken, dass Wirtz die Müller-Rolle erfüllen könnte.
Der Leverkusener hat einen Ausrüster-Vertrag bei Adidas – so wie Müller. Trotz Stars wie Harry Kane (31) oder Jamal Musiala (22) ist auch in dieser Saison der Topseller unter Bayern-Trikots das von Müller. Mit dem Duo Musiala & Wirtz hofft man in der Führungsetage, einen ähnlichen Marketing-Effekt zu erzielen, wie es ihn bei der Heim-EM 2024 gab. Davon würde auch Ausrüster Adidas profitieren, der beim FC Bayern Anteilseigner ist.
Aber wechselt Wirtz wirklich? Hamann: „Wenn er bei Bayer weitermacht und sie die Mannschaft zusammenhalten können, sehe ich keine zwingende Notwendigkeit für Wirtz, nach München zu gehen. Denn dann könnten sie Bayern nächstes Jahr noch mal angreifen.“
