The Dallas Mavericks will attempt to salvage a disappointing season as they try to advance to the first round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night in the final Western Conference Play-In game. The Mavericks were 39-43 in the regular season but crushed the Kings on the road on Wednesday night, 120-106, to put themselves one game away from a first-round playoff berth. The Grizzlies went 48-34 in the regular season before falling in a close game to the Warriors on Tuesday night, 121-116. Dallas won the first matchup between these teams before losing the final three in 2024-25, including a 132-97 Memphis win in Sunday’s regular season finale.
Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m. ET from the FedEx Forum in Memphis. In two games against the Mavericks, Morant has averaged 31 points, six assists, and three rebounds this season.
Forwards Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. will have to step up for the Grizzlies to successfully defend their home court.
