Emails obtained by The Athletic showed Hudson urging UNC’s communications team to remove what she described as “slanderous” comments regarding their relationship, particularly one allegedly referring to Belichick as a “predator.”
A clear response from the academic side
The university responded, stating that it had already been moderating private life-related commentary and would continue to do so, though officials reportedly did not find direct evidence of the term being used against Belichick. Beyond her role as Belichick’s partner, Hudson’s email signature reportedly lists her as the “chief operating officer of Belichick Productions.”
However, investigations into the business have not yielded any official records of its existence. Despite the scrutiny, the couple appears committed to each other, with engagement rumors swirling after Hudson was spotted wearing a sizable ring on her left hand during Super Bowl week. Sources close to them have hinted that discussions of marriage have taken place.
While Belichick has always been known for his no-nonsense approach on the football field, his response to the speculation surrounding his relationship suggests he applies the same attitude to his private life: focused, determined, and uninterested in external judgment.
