Tom Brady and Las Vegas Raiders – where he is a minority owner – are more than ready for the 2025 NFL Draft, which is four days away.
On his latest mock, Draft analyst Chad Reuter wrote that it makes perfect sense for the Raiders to select superstar quarterback Shedeur Sanders with the No. 6 pick overall.
Got turnt up! Tom Brady enjoys Travis Scott show at Coachella in a rare occasion for the GOAT
“Geno Smith‘s new deal includes no guaranteed money after the 2026 season, pero Over the Cap, potentially giving the team an out. Sanders would continue his relationship with minority owner Tom Brady and learn under Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly, giving the QB a chance to maximize his potential.” wrote Reuter.
Tom Brady gets turnt up at Coachella
Before the NFL Draft takes place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Tom Brady had some time to enjoy his weekend and he went to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley, to enjoy one of the biggest music festivals in the world.
And he was on the VIP section for the return of Travis Scott to the festival since 2017. It was a very crowded, high-energy set that included a spectacular display of lights to go along his monster hits such as “FE¡N“, “Butterfly Effect“, “No Bystanders“, and of course, “Sicko Mode.”
Among the thousands of fans who enjoyed Scott’s return to Coachella was none other than the GOAT Tom Brady, who was recorded dancing and vibing to one of Travis’ songs. The New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccanneers legend seems to have a good relationship with the rapper from Houston, Texas, as they have hanged out before.
“I loved listening and learning from Travis Scott about his amazing journey and couldn’t be more amazed by his incredible accomplishments, as a musicina, entrepreneur, creative visionary and artist in every sense of the word (not to mention a greaty guy).” posted Brady on May 2023 along with a picture of both.
The Raiders combine experience and young vision for the Draft
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Spytek are ready to have a great NFL Draft on a couple of days. Carroll is going into his 19th draft day while Spytek is going into his first ever event, although he possess nearly 20 years of scouting and player personnel experience.
“There’s no signs that this is John’s first go-around,” Carroll said Friday, sitting next to the general manager as they addressed local media. “It doesn’t feel like that at all. He’s gained so much from the people he’s worked with. I’m sure they’ve given him latitude and they’ve utilized his powers and his strengths, because you can just tell he’s very comfortable with the process.”
Both indicated that all options are on the table regarding what they might do with their first-round pick. That includes the possibility of trading back to get more assets, trading up to take a player on their draft board that’s fallen or staying put at No. 6 and taking their guy, who could be Shedeur Sanders.
