Die Münchner lassen ihren Champions-League-Frust beim 1. FC Heidenheim raus, überrollen den Klub mit 4:0. Zuvor waren die Münchner bitter gegen Inter Mailand aus der Königsklasse ausgeschieden. Jetzt die starke Reaktion.
Ein Auftritt, wie man ihn nach einem solchen Rückschlag nicht unbedingt erwarten konnte. Denn in den vergangenen Jahren war es oft ganz anders. Nach Niederlagen oder dem Ausscheiden aus einem wichtigen Wettbewerb schien die Mannschaft regelmäßig den Faden zu verlieren, wirkte verunsichert, intern zerrissen. Doch dieses Mal ist vieles anders.
Mittelfeld-Leader Joshua Kimmich (30) erklärt auf BILD-Nachfrage, was diesmal in der Kabine passiert ist. Und warum die Bayern stabiler wirken als in vergleichbaren Situationen der Vergangenheit.

Der DFB-Star: „Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass wir gefestigter sind. Ich bin in den letzten zehn Jahren nun neunmal aus der Champions League rausgeflogen, da hatte ich oft das Gefühl, dass wir anfangen, uns selbst zu hinterfragen und mit dem Finger auf andere zeigen. Wir haben diese Saison eine andere Basis miteinander — gerade innerhalb der Kabine. Dort hat keiner in den letzten Tagen Schuld bei irgendjemandem gesucht. Wir wussten alle, dass wir das Ausscheiden nicht rückgängig machen können und uns jetzt auf die letzten zwei möglichen Titel konzentrieren müssen.“
Ein wichtiger Grund für diese neue Geschlossenheit ist aus Sicht von Kimmich auch Trainer Vincent Kompany (39). Der Belgier hat sich von Anfang an klar positioniert, wenn es um den Umgang mit seinen Spielern geht – vor allem in der Öffentlichkeit.
Kompany verzichtet komplett auf öffentliche Einzelkritik, schützt seine Mannschaft konsequent nach außen. In Pressekonferenzen und Interviews stellt er sich vor die Spieler, vermeidet es, Schwächen oder Fehler öffentlich zu benennen. Ein Stil, der im Team offenbar sehr gut ankommt – und der sich deutlich vom Ansatz seines Vorgängers unterscheidet. Ex-Trainer Thomas Tuchel (51) hatte in der Vergangenheit wiederholt einzelne Spieler öffentlich kritisiert – intern wie extern. Das hat immer wieder für Spannungen gesorgt.
Kimmich lobt Kompany: „Das macht er sehr, sehr schlau. Gerade in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit macht er es sehr geschickt und sehr schlau. Das bringt uns sehr viel, dass wir uns auf uns und unsere Leistung konzentrieren können.“

Auch sportlich zeigt die Mannschaft in Heidenheim eine Top-Leistung. Vom Anpfiff an ist der FC Bayern präsent. Kimmich spielte gewohnt passsicher, war stark im Umschaltspiel und traf zum 4:0-Endstand mit einem sehenswerten Schlenzer ins Eck. Eine Leistung, die auch ihn persönlich zufriedenstellt: „Wir haben vor 40 Stunden ungefähr noch auf dem Platz gestanden und eine große Enttäuschung einstecken müssen. Ich bin heute sehr stolz und zufrieden damit, wie wir gespielt haben.“
Ein Auftritt, der ein klares Signal sendet: Den Meistertitel wollen sich die Bayern nicht mehr nehmen lassen. Nach dem Sieg in Heidenheim sind es neun Punkte Vorsprung auf Leverkusen. Die Werkself kann heute (19.30 Uhr/DAZN) mit einem Sieg über St. Pauli aber wieder den alten Abstand von sechs Punkten herstellen.
