„Předvedená hra ani výsledky v jarní části sezony neodpovídají našim ambicím. Chtěli bychom trenéru Valachovičovi poděkovat za jeho více než pětileté působení v Líšni, během kterého odvedl velký kus práce,“ uvedl pro klubový web generální ředitel Líšně Libor Kleibl.
Klub z východu Brna po zimním vstupu miliardáře Igora Faita vyhlásil z deváté pozice útok na baráž o nejvyšší soutěž. Líšeň sice vstoupila do jara nadějně a dostala se až na čtvrtou příčku, ale v posledních čtyřech duelech vybojovala jen dva body a v tabulce klesla na sedmou pozici, z níž ztrácí na baráž šest bodů.
Milan Valachovič končí jako hlavní trenér SK Líšeň 2019 a.s.
Po vzájemné dohodě s klubem nebude Milan Valachovič pokračovat v roli hlavního kouče A týmu SK Líšně. Tým dočasně přebírají asistenti Vladimír Michal s Petrem Maléřem.

Valachovič do Líšně přišel na podzim roku 2019, kdy se z divizního Lanžhota posunul do druhé ligy poté, co nahradil Miloslava Machálka, jehož si vytáhla z východu Brna Zbrojovka. Líšeň pod jeho vedením třikrát finišovala ve druhé lize v první pětce. Po zimním vstupu do nového majitele do klubu měl jeho místo zaujmout velezkušený kouč Pavel Vrba, s nímž se ale klub ještě v zimní přípravě rozloučil a na místo hlavního kouče se vrátil opět Valachovič.
Zachránit zbytek sezony bude mít za úkol Valachovičův nástupce. Tím by se mohl stát někdo z trojice Jiří Chytrý, Radim Kučera nebo Václav Jílek, jehož klub neúspěšně oslovil už v zimě, o čemž jako první informoval server iDNES.cz. Nejpravděpodobněji se nyní jeví příchod Kučery.
Právě on a Chytrý sledovali z tribuny už sobotní derby proti Zbrojovce.
Klub chystá i další změny. Tento týden má oznámit jméno nového sportovního ředitele, v průběhu května pak patrně představí změnu názvu i kompletní rebranding.
