Ao falar sobre a busca do Corinthians por um novo treinador após a demissão de Ramón Díaz, o ex-jogador Denílson destacou que o clube alvinegro precisará gastar dinheiro caso busque os melhores nomes e avaliou a péssima situação financeira que o clube se encontra atualmente.
“A saúde financeira do Corinthians não é boa de longa data. É um absurdo. Assustador”, apontou o comentarista, durante participação no programa “Fechamento SporTV”.
De acordo com a própria diretoria corintiana, a dívida atual do clube bateu na casa dos R$ 2,5 bilhões nesta temporada. ou seja, uma das maiores entre todos os clubes brasileiros.
No primeiro ano sob a gestão do presidente Augusto Melo, o time teve um déficit de R$ 181,766 milhões e a dívida total subiu cerca de R$ 600 milhões.
Mesmo assim, o Timão segue contratando reforços e gastando muito acima do que pode.
Denílson também cita dívida do São Paulo
Além do Corinthians, o comentarista também destacou que o momento financeiro do rival São Paulo também é bastante preocupante.
Ao final de 2024, segundo o balanço do Tricolor, o clube deve quase R$ 1 bilhão. O déficit do clube apontado no balanço de 2024 foi de R$ 287 milhões.
“O São Paulo também vive uma situação financeira difícil para caramba. Situação muito delicada”, alertou Denílson.
Tite recusa oferta do Corinthians
Depois de negociar com Dorival Júnior e ficar bem próximo de fechar com Tite para ser seu próximo treinador, o Corinthians foi surpreendido na manhã desta terça-feira (22) com a recusa do treinador de 63 anos, que alegou problemas pessoais.
O treinador teria sofrido uma crise de ansiedade na véspera de assumir o comando corintiano.
“Sou um apaixonado pelo que faço e assim seguirei sendo, mas conversando com minha família e observando os sinais que meu corpo estava emitindo, decidi que o melhor a fazer agora é interromper minha carreira para cuidar de mim pelo tempo que for preciso”, diz trecho do comunicado do treinador.
“Como se tornou público, havia uma conversa em andamento com o Corinthians, mas ela precisará ser paralisada por uma decisão difícil, mas necessária.”
Na próxima rodada da Copa Sul-Americana, contra o Racing-URU, nesta quinta-feira, às 19h (de Brasília), na Neo Química Arena, o Corinthians será comandado novamente pelo técnico interino Orlando Ribeiro, do sub-20.
