Josh Allen is still dealing with the aftermath of the last AFC Championship loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs

It’s been a little over two months since the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game, where once again Josh Allen fell just one step short of reaching the Super Bowl and chasing the franchise’s first Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The last pass Allen threw in that game wasn’t caught by first-round tight end Dalton Kincaid, even though the quarterback practically placed it right in his hands. Now that the Bills have returned to training, Josh Allen mentioned that the game “still weighs on me.”

Buffalo Bills fans booed and cursed after Josh Allen was drafted and the video still stings

At the start of free agency, Josh Allen signed a six-year contract extension worth $330 million, with $250 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid player in the NFL. This deal came after a season in which he was named MVP for the first time in his career.

Josh Allen knows he must improve his connection with Keon Coleman

The Bills’ quarterback knows that one of the keys to success next season is his connection with Keon Coleman, who will be entering his second year and showed some flashes of potential last season, despite dealing with injuries.

Coleman contributed with 29 receptions, 556 yards, and four touchdowns. However, his production in the playoffs wasn’t great, and Allen mentioned that one of the offseason priorities is improving their connection.

“We’ve had a couple of conversations, and he knows he wants to get better,” Allen said, according to WGR 550. “He sent me a few long messages telling me he wants to improve, and we’re going to keep working really hard to get on the same page. He’s incredibly talented, very athletic, he’s already put on some weight and gotten a bit stronger, so I’m excited to see his progress. He’s still very young and has a lot to learn when it comes to the nuances of the wide receiver position, so I’m really excited about his future because his talent is exceptional.”

The Bills also added Joshua Palmer from the Los Angeles Chargers, but the fact remains that the team needs a true number-one receiver for Allen-and they may look to select one in the first round of the draft.

Chicago Bears draft Luther Burden: Fantasy Football outlook for 2025, how to draft DJ Moore, Caleb Williams

Getty Images I suppose if you hire arguably the best offensive coordinator of the 2020s as your head coach you have to go get him the weapons he wants. How far will Mike Green fall in NFL Draft? Here’s why Marshall edge rusher has likely yet to be picked

Getty Images Shedeur Sanders isn't the only big-name prospect to endure a longer wait than anticipated during the 2025 NFL Draft. Just as the Colorado quarterback fell all the way out of Round 1, and still waiting for his name to be called on Day 2, Marshall edge rusher Mike Green went undrafted well into Friday night. That was despite Green entering the draft as a widely projected first-round pick, and ranked as one of this year's top pass rushers. What, exactly, is causing Green's major slide during the 2025 draft? The main culprit is likely a handful of off-field concerns. Green, it turns out, faced two different allegations of sexual assault between high school and college, as he confirmed during February's NFL Scouting Combine. The 21-year-old defensive end was previously suspended from Virginia's football program, after which he transferred to Marshall, […]
