Con 16 goles en la presente temporada, lo cierto es que Sorloth ha estado más acertado entrando al verde con el partido avanzado que saliendo de inicio. Empezó la temporada como titular en La Cerámica y marcando en su primer remate de la temporada, pero después de hacer un doblete ante el Leganés, se llevó todos los halagos como suplente ante Las Palmas, Alavés, Celta o los mencionados Barça y Getafe.
Ahora, como titular de nuevo, tiene una asignatura pendiente. Formando con Julián Alvarez debe golear de inicio.
