Die Füchse spielen sich in einen Rausch. Zehn Minuten vor Schluss trifft Rückkehrer Fabian Wiede zum 30:26 – vier Tore Vorsprung, die Halle tobt! Party-Stimmung in Berlin. Gidsel erhöht auf 32:26 (54.). Das hätte wohl jeder Berliner vor Anpfiff sofort unterschrieben.
Am Ende wird es sogar ein 37:29-Erfolg. Bester Werfer: natürlich Gidsel mit 11 Toren. Plus 8 Tore! Was für ein Top-Ergebnis für das Rückspiel. Der Traum von Final Four in Köln lebt mehr denn je!
