The 2025 NFL Draft is hours away as the expectations continues to grow around the league with the event that’s going down in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Thousands of fans will get to see who their team is going to pick as the key parts of their roster, with the hope of acquiring the talent that can take them to the Super Bowl.

A total shock! Titans change their No. 1 pick in 2025 NFL Draft and stuns Cam Ward and the league

The eyes are going to be on the first couple of picks, with the star college players that are going to have the responsibility to perform at the highest level and make a name for themselves in the next couple of years. A lot of them will fail, but some of them could become legendary.

NFL Draft No. 1 pick changes last minute

In a surprising turn of events, the Tennessee Titans selected Princeton Tiger guard Matthew Winston as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. his decision deviated from many analysts’ predictions, catching fans and experts off guard with the last-minute move.

Fans were stunned that Winston’s name appeared on the screen instead of Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward, who was recently contacted by the Titans management to let him know that he’s going to be their number one pick in the draft.

Don’t worry, though. It was all part of the rehearsal of the main event, which starts this Thursday at Green Bay, Wisconsin. Sixteen prospects will be in attendance, including Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter – who played with Shedeur Sanders in Colorado -, Heisman runner-up, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, and Alabama Crimson Tide Jalen Milroe.

Cam Ward’s rise to the No. 1 pick of the NFL Draft

Cam Ward‘s rise is remarkable: from being unranked in high school to setting records at Miami, he showcased resilience and talent. His performance at Miami’s Pro Day impressed scouts, solidifying his status as a top prospect that promises to be one of the faces of the league.

With this pick, the Tennessee Titans aim to revitalize their franchise after a challenging season. Ward’s selection indicates a fresh start and a commitment to building a dynamic offense around a promising young quarterback.

NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah wrote that “the cat could be out of the bag with this pick, based on Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi‘s comments this week. It’s time to bring some excitement to Tennessee, and Ward has a very enticing skill set.” The whole state is counting on it.
