The 2025 NFL Draft kicked off Thursday, when the Tennessee Titans opened the first round of action by officially making Cam Ward their new franchise quarterback. And 31 others joined him in making the leap from college football to the NFL level, some of them literally taking the stage in Green Bay to mark the start of their pro careers. There was drama, to be sure, with Travis Hunter landing in Jacksonville instead of Cleveland, the Dallas Cowboys going back to the trenches and the New York Giants trading back into Day 1 for Jaxson Dart.

The best part, though? Thursday was just the start of the frenzy. Hundreds of additional picks remain, as all 32 teams look to shore up their rosters for the upcoming season. And plenty of big-name prospects also remain available — none bigger than Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado quarterback could be one of the first off the board on Day 2, along with Michigan’s Will Johnson, Marshall’s Mike Green and South Carolina’s Nick Emmanwori.

When does the next day of the 2025 NFL Draft begin? And what time will the picks start rolling in as the pool of top prospects gets whittled down? Texas, Texas A&M baseball soap opera is SEC’s underrated contribution to sports nirvana

An indelible moment from the night Tennessee won its first baseball national championship on June 24 in Omaha, Neb. — maybe the indelible moment, if you’re adding up the ensuing discourse — was when the coach of the team that just missed on its first baseball national championship addressed job rumors.Advertisement“I think it’s pretty selfish of you to ask that question, to be honest with you,” Texas A&M coach Jim Schlossnagle began his response, and at that second in that room, eyes widened, eyebrows and antennae raised, laptops rustled in laps and prepared to clatter at full speed.Few duties in this profession are embraced as enthusiastically as buzzing fastballs under the chins of coaches seeking stealthy situation upgrades, considering how many in that profession whine about athletes doing the same.“I took the job at Texas A&M to never take another […]
