Weil die Königlichen unzufrieden sind mit der Ansetzung für das Copa del Rey Finale gegen den FC Barcelona drohen sie nun mit einem Mega-Streik.
Wie die spanische „Marca“ berichtet hat Real Madrid das öffentliche Abschlusstraining, die Pressekonferenzen sowie das gemeinsame Essen mit den Verantwortlichen vor dem Copa-Finale kurzfristig abgesagt.
Die Königlichen drohen Berichten zufolge auch nicht anzutreten, wenn der Schiedsrichter nicht ausgetauscht wird.
Ursprünglich wollten die Königlichen um 19.15 Uhr eine Pressekonferenz durchführen, im Anschluss hätte das Abschlusstraining um 20 Uhr stattfinden sollen. Doch Real streikt und möchte offenbar, dass die Unparteiischen kurzfristig getauscht werden.
Hintergrund: Am Samstagabend wird Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea das Duell zwischen dem FC Barcelona und Real Madrid um die Krone in der Copa del Rey pfeifen. Den Königlichen passt seine Ernennung aber so gar nicht. Sie wittern gar eine Benachteiligung.

In ihrer lautstarken Anklageschrift weist Real darauf hin, dass sie unter der Leitung des baskischen Schiedsrichters lediglich 64 % der Spiele gewinnen konnten. Ihr Dauerrivale aus Barcelona hat unter seiner Spielleitung dagegen eine Siegquote von 81 %.
„Ein unglaublicher Unterschied“, schimpft Reals TV-Sender und führt des Weiteren an, dass man nur zwei der letzten fünf Spiele, die de Burgos Bengoetxea gepfiffen hat, gewinnen konnte.
Das Video prügelt noch härter auf den Spanier ein. „Wie ist es möglich, dass de Burgos Bengoetxea, der seit 2017 international ist, noch nichts Wichtiges gepfiffen hat?“, heißt es dort. Und weiter: „Fußball wird gesünder sein, wenn sie (De Burgos Bengoecheau und der zuständige VAR-Schiri Pablo González Fuertes, Anm.d.Red.) nicht da sind.“ Der Spanier hat bis dato noch nie ein Champions-League-Spiel oder ein Spiel bei einer WM oder EM gepfiffen. Das Pokalfinale ist sein erstes großes Spiel.
Der spanische Verband sagt gegenüber dem spanischen Radiosender „Cadena“, dass es keine Möglichkeit gebe, den Schiri auszutauschen.
