Javier Tebas (62) reagierte bei X auf die Weigerung von Real Madrid, an der offiziellen Pressekonferenz, dem Training und dem Abendessen vor dem Copa del Rey-Finale teilzunehmen.
„Das ist kein Fußball, das ist Machtkontrolle“, heißt es am Anfang des Textes des LaLiga-Präsidenten. Ohne ihn direkt namentlich zu erwähnen, dürfte seine Kritik dem Real-Madrid-Präsidenten Florentino Pérez (78) gelten. Um seine Abneigung ihm gegenüber macht Tebas keinen Hehl.
Schwere Vorwürfe gegen Real!: Tränen-Drama um Schiedsrichter vor Pokal-Finale
In seinem Tweet erinnert er an Kontroversen, in die Madrid in letzter Zeit verwickelt war wie zum Beispiel die plötzliche Abwesenheit bei der Ballon d’Or-Gala oder die Kritik an der UEFA.
Weiter teilt er gegen Pérez aus: „Er protestiert nicht, er macht Druck. Er beschwert sich nicht, er droht. Er ist nicht anderer Meinung, er bestraft. Er will nicht den Fußball verbessern, er will seinen Fußball. Und das Schlimmste ist nicht, dass er sich bemüht. Das Schlimmste ist, dass viele es zulassen, ihm zustimmen und ihm helfen.“

Vor dem Copa-del-Rey-Finale gegen Erzrivale Barça wetterte der königliche Klub im eigenen TV-Sender gegen Referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea. Der Vorwurf: Er sei zu oft gegen Real, zu selten neutral.
Laut spanischen Medien kursierten mehrten sich die Gerüchte, dass Real Madrid nicht zum Pokalfinale gegen den FC Barcelona antreten wird. Wie die spanische „Marca“ berichtete, hatte Real Madrid bereits das öffentliche Abschlusstraining, die Pressekonferenzen sowie das gemeinsame Essen mit den Verantwortlichen vor dem Copa-Finale kurzfristig abgesagt.
Nun veröffentlichten die Königlichen eine Pressemitteilung mit einem Statement:
„Angesichts der Gerüchte, die in den letzten Stunden aufgetaucht sind, teilt Real Madrid mit, dass unsere Mannschaft nie in Erwägung gezogen hat, das Finale morgen nicht zu bestreiten. (…) Real Madrid findet, dass die Werte des Fußballs überwiegen müssen, trotz der Feindseligkeit und Animosität, die heute wieder einmal von den für das Endspiel ernannten Schiedsrichtern gegen unseren Verein gezeigt wurde“.
Der Ball rollt im Pokalfinale noch nicht – doch die Nerven liegen längst blank.
