Christopher Nkunku steht bei Chelsea vor dem Aus!
Der französische Stürmer, den Bayern-Sportvorstand Max Eberl (51) nach München holen wollte, hat in London den Anschluss an die Mannschaft verloren, berichtet „RMC Sport“. Er wird den Verein wohl im Sommer verlassen – und das wohl in beiderseitigem Einvernehmen, wie es heißt.
Seit seinem Wechsel vor zwei Jahren konnte Nkunku an der Stamford Bridge nicht überzeugen. Verletzungen warfen ihn zurück, und auch nach seiner Genesung blieb der erhoffte Durchbruch aus. Nur sechs Tore in 38 Premier-League-Spielen, von denen er lediglich elfmal in der Startelf stand, sprechen eine deutliche Sprache.
[–>Am vergangenen Wochenende wurde der 27-Jährige – einer der ältesten Spieler im Kader – komplett aus dem Aufgebot gestrichen. Tyrique George erhielt den Vorzug und belohnte das Vertrauen prompt mit einem Tor.
Trainer Enzo Maresca äußerte sich diplomatisch zur Situation: „Christopher war gut, auch letzte Woche. Aber wir müssen auf ein, zwei Spieler verzichten, um jungen Spielern wie Tyrique und Josh eine Chance zu geben.“
Hartes Urteil über Bayern-Star: „GESCHEITERT!“
Maresca weiter: „Ich versuche immer, das Beste für den Klub zu tun. Jede Entscheidung treffe ich im Sinne des Vereins. Ich weiß, dass Christopher viel Geld gekostet hat und Tyrique aus der Akademie kommt. Aber manchmal muss man Entscheidungen treffen, die von außen schwer nachvollziehbar sind. Doch wenn man sie jeden Tag arbeiten sieht, dann ergibt es Sinn.“
Nkunkus Zukunft bei Chelsea scheint besiegelt. Vor ein paar Monaten hätte sein Weg fast zu den Bayern geführt – hätte der mächtige Aufsichtsrat Eberls Kaderplänen keinen Riegel vorgeschoben. Jetzt sieht es für Nkunku ganz düster aus.
