O Internacional fez as pazes com a vitória depois de quatro jogos. Na tarde de hoje (26) no Beira-Rio, o Colorado bateu o Juventude por 3 a 1 pela abertura da 6ª rodada do Brasileirão Série A.
Os três gols do time gaúcho saíram de cabeça depois de cobranças de escanteio de Alan Patrick. Victor Gabriel anotou os dois primeiros na etapa inicial e Borré fechou o placar no segundo tempo.
O jovem Victor Gabriel foi destacado por Roger Machado na entrevista coletiva. O zagueiro de apenas 20 anos voltou recentemente após se recuperar de lesão muscular e vem sendo uma das revelações do Internacional em 2025.
O treinador colorado enalteceu a virtude do defensor na bola levantada para a área, tanto na defesa quanto no ataque.
“O Victor é um fenômeno de bola aérea”, avaliou Roger Machado. Ao mesmo tempo, acrescentou que o atleta já havia marcado um gol de cabeça na estreia na temporada contra o Guarany de Bagé, pelo Campeonato Gaúcho em janeiro.
“Na questão defensiva eu fiz uma mudança pensando justamente que o Juventude ia tentar buscar os mesmos espaços que, em bola aérea, a gente teve problema na Libertadores”, explicou o técnico, mencionando o empate em 3 a 3 com o Nacional-URU na última terça-feira (22).
“Passei o Victor para ser aquele jogador, para eu ter jogadores de maior imposição na bola aérea defensiva”, complementou, esclarecendo que corrigiu o posicionamento dos zagueiros nos últimos treinos.
Roger Machado também destacou a facilidade de Victor Gabriel na saída de bola por trás. “Como foi lateral-esquerdo, ele tem bom passe”, analisou, completando: “Eu tô muito empolgado”.

Victor Gabriel é formado nas categorias de base do Sport e está cedido por empréstimo ao Internacional pelo clube pernambucano.
O defensor chegou ao Beira-Rio como lateral-esquerdo e se firmou como titular da zaga colorada ao lado de Vitão na campanha do título do Gauchão.
Para adquirir Victor Gabriel em definitivo, o Internacional precisará pagar R$ 2 milhões ao Sport por 50% dos direitos econômicos. O contrato do zagueiro vai até dezembro.
