Brasileiro feminino: Expansão do campeonato nos próximos anos pode impactar qualidade na elite

Em 2027, o futebol feminino estará em destaque no Brasil. Além de sediar a Copa do Mundo, o país terá a primeira edição do Brasileirão A1 com 20 clubes, quatro a mais do que atualmente. O anúncio da expansão do campeonato, feito em janeiro, levanta a dúvida: a infraestrutura e a qualidade técnica dos times vão acompanhar esse crescimento?

Nas seis primeiras rodadas da edição em disputa, foram marcados 158 gols, média de 3,3 por partida — no Brasileiro masculino, por exemplo, a média no mesmo período é de 2,3. O número expõe o abismo entre as equipes que brigam pelo título e aquelas que lutam contra o rebaixamento: já são seis jogos, 10% do total, com vitórias por quatro ou mais gols de diferença.

Mas a frequência de goleadas vem diminuindo: caiu de 22,5% em 2019 para 12,5% em 2024. Tendência similar é observada na Espanha, que passou de 19,1% em 2021/22 para 13% em 2023/24, com ampla hegemonia do Barcelona. Para Amanda Viana, comentarista do Planeta Futebol Feminino, porém, o Brasileirão ainda tem um “nível competitivo baixo”:

—Muitas goleadas acontecem por conta da disparidade de estrutura e elenco. O ideal seria estabelecer padrões mínimos de qualidade para equipes da elite.

O Instituto 3B, de Manaus, sofreu os piores resultados do campeonato até aqui: são seis derrotas e saldo de -25 gols. Hoje, o lanterna enfrenta o Real Brasília, em casa, em busca da primeira vitória. O presidente e diretor de futebol do clube, Bosco Brasil Bindá, já esperava enfrentar dificuldades diante de rivais com maior orçamento — mesmo contando com apoio financeiro e logístico da CBF, que custeia as viagens, pagando transporte e hospedagem.

— Somos um time amador, o único do Norte na elite. A meta é permanecer. Se ficarmos entre os 10, vamos soltar fogos — brinca ele.

Desequilíbrio entre times

Vertente de um projeto social, o 3B tem dois títulos estaduais e dois vice-campeonatos nacionais (Séries A2 e A3) desde 2017. Com o aumento da exigência na primeira divisão, Bosco se preocupa em proteger a equipe e as atletas. Optou por abrir mão da vaga na Supercopa do Brasil, disputada em março. Considerou também desistir do Brasileirão, mas fatores como a candidatura do Amazonas a sede da Copa e a posição da federação local no ranking pesaram para decidir manter o clube na disputa:

— Estou focado em fortalecer a base para, em três ou quatro anos, termos um time forte, sem depender de jogadoras de fora. O futuro, porém, só o tempo dirá.

O desequilíbrio entre as equipes que jogam o Brasileiro é tão grande que, desde 2019, diversas delas deixaram de existir. O Audax-SP, por exemplo, perdeu força após o fim da parceria com o Corinthians, no fim de 2017, e encerrou o departamento feminino. O Esmac-PA, que chegou à primeira divisão em 2022 após seis títulos estaduais, não resistiu à campanha com saldo -29 e hoje atua só na base.

Outros exemplos incluem Vitória das Tabocas (PE), São Francisco (BA), Foz Cataratas (PR, vice da Libertadores em 2012), Ponte Preta (SP), Napoli (SC) e Real Ariquemes (RO), suspenso pela CBF por irregularidades. O Ceará, campeão da A2 em 2022, enxugou o projeto feminino após o rebaixamento do time masculino, no mesmo ano, e sofreu três goleadas por 10 ou mais gols na elite em 2023. Hoje, disputa a Série A3.

Por outro lado, clubes com melhor estrutura conseguiram se reerguer. Lanterna em 2021, o Bahia alterna entre as divisões. Rebaixado com saldo de -50 em 2019, o Sport caiu até a A3, mas manteve a equipe e voltou à primeira divisão. Já o Vitória, que perdeu todas em 2020, retornou à Série A2 após dois anos fora do circuito nacional.

Diante desse cenário, quem acompanha o futebol feminino vê com preocupação a expansão do Brasileiro para 20 clubes e teme o aumento das disparidades.

— Esse é meu medo — diz Alline Calandrini, ex-jogadora e comentarista do Sportv. — Naturalmente, os times que não têm experiência na A1 também não têm tanto investimento. A tendência é sofrer goleadas porque muda realmente o nível tático, técnico e físico.

Exemplo da Inglaterra

Para ela, seria necessário fortalecer e equilibrar tanto a Série A1 quanto a A2, e depois dar um passo maior:

— Isso depende de fomento, da CBF e das federações fiscalizarem os clubes… Uma competição bem jogada, equilibrada, acirrada e nivelada faz o produto ser mais valorizado.

Amanda Viana concorda e dá como referência a liga feminina da Inglaterra:

— A Federação Inglesa fez um plano de crescimento. Conseguiu melhorar a qualidade de estádios e gramados, e a estrutura de clubes. Conseguiu atrair grandes nomes, aumentar a competitividade dos times médios e o público dos jogos. Estão crescendo ano a ano, o que se reflete também nos valores envolvidos, como naming rights, patrocínios e acordos de transmissão.

Por aqui, a CBF aumentou em 20% o investimento no Brasileiro feminino em relação à temporada 2024, sem detalhar os valores — foram R$ 25 milhões no ano passado. A entidade, no entanto, não se manifestou sobre os impactos da expansão até o fechamento da edição.
