Walter Casagrande está convicto de que aqueles que não irão disputar o título do Brasileirão. Após a goleada do Flamengo por 4 a 0 sobre o Corinthians, no Maracanã, o ex-jogador admitiu que o Timão está fora de qualquer possibilidade de sonhar com a conquista da Série A.
Em vídeo publicado nas redes sociais, o comentarista destacou o elenco incapaz de suportar uma competição a longo prazo, mas que pode ter êxitos nas Copas.
“O Corinthians não tem time para disputar o título do Campeonato Brasileiro.” Isso tem que ser falado, deixar bem claro. Pode se dar bem nos torneios de mata-mata, pode chegar numa final, ganhar, mas pontos corridos já era. “Jogou seis partidas e perdeu três”, disparou Casagrande.
“Não teve jogo, o time do Flamengo deu um verdadeiro baile numa equipe que não viu a cor da bola.” Em nenhum momento o Corinthians conseguiu equilibrar as ações, dificultar o adversário”, completou.
Com gols de Everton Cebolinha, Arrascaeta e Pedro (2), o Flamengo não teve nenhuma dificuldade para bater o alvinegro. Dorival Júnior, novo técnico corintiano, acompanhou nas tribunas o massacre rubro-negro.
A expectativa é que nesta segunda-feira ele seja anunciado oficialmente como comandante do Corinthians.

Substituído no primeiro tempo do jogo com o Flamengo, Memphis Depay sentiu dores na perna após um choque com Léo Ortiz. Aos 25 minutos, o atacante recebeu uma pancada do zagueiro do Flamengo e foi ao gramado.
Memphis tentou seguir em campo, mas após alguns minutos pediu para sair. O camisa 10 será reavaliado pelos médicos do Timão na volta a São Paulo.
