O diálogo da CBF com Carlo Ancelotti se intensificou após a derrota do Real Madrid para o Barcelona na Copa do Rei e o discurso do técnico sobre o possível fim de ciclo no clube merengue.
O presidente da CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, centraliza as negociações, mas tem o apoio de um “outsider” do futebol. O empresário Diego Fernandes, da 8 Partners, é quem conversa com Ancelotti.
A CBF nega que o empresário seja um intermediário da negociação. Mas segundo o blog apurou, ele é sim um facilitador, que chegou a Ednaldo através de Neymar pai.
A aproximação entre o presidente da CBF e Diego Fernandes vem do ano passado, em um jogo da seleção na Bahia. O empresário atua no mercado financeiro e é ligado a vários atletas internacionais.
Fernandes esteve no jogo entre Real Madrid e Barcelona e nas próximas semanas deve ser a voz não oficial da CBF para fechar com Ancelotti um acordo até a Copa de 2026.
A entidade, procurada, não confirma avanço nas negociações por enquanto.
Internamente, a expectativa é que Ancelotti acerte até o fim de maio e já participe da lista larga enviada à Fifa para os jogos das Eliminatórias em junho, contra Equador e Paraguai, dias 6 e 9 de junho.
Para isso, o treinador precisará se desligar do Real Madrid antes do Mundial de Clubes. A CBF aguarda que Ancelotti se libere do clube com as devidas honrarias para finalizar o acordo.
– Já disse, eu posso seguir (no Real) e posso parar. Este será um tema para as próximas semanas, não hoje – afirmou Ancelotti na entrevista coletiva depois da derrota por 3 a 2 para o Barcelona, em Sevilha.
