A possibilidade de a Seleção Brasileira de futebol adotar um uniforme da cor vermelha causou descontentamento entre parlamentares. Pelas redes sociais, nomes como o do senador Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) e Arthur Maia (União-BA) se posicionaram contrários a mudança da camisa 2, anunciada por um site especializado.
Flávio Bolsonaro escreveu que a uniforme “sempre foi um símbolo da identidade nacional” e que a mudança precisava ser “repudiada veementemente”.
“Quero acreditar que isso não é verdade! A camisa da Seleção sempre foi um símbolo da nossa identidade nacional, do nosso orgulho e das nossas raízes. Sempre foi verde e amarela, as cores da nossa pátria.Mudar isso não faz qualquer sentido. É uma afronta a tudo o que sempre representou o orgulho do nosso povo!”, escreveu o parlamentar.
Flávio completou a publicação dizendo que é uma “investida” para “desfigurar” a identidade brasileira.
“Não há identificação, não há história, não há justificativa para que, seja quem for, queira substituir o verde e amarelo pelo vermelho. Essa tentativa não passa de mais uma investida para desfigurar aquilo que nos faz brasileiros de verdade. Nossa bandeira não é vermelha, e nunca será! Essa mudança precisa ser repudiada veementemente”, completou o deputado.
Arthur Maia, ex-presidente da Comissão de Constituição e Justiça (CCJ) da Câmara dos Deputados, afirmou que a “seleção é um dos mais expressivos símbolos” do país e que as cores “devem estar relacionados com a bandeira nacional”. Maia apoiou a eleição de Bolsonaro em 2022.
“Meu veemente protesto contra a esdrúxula ideia de a mudar a cor da segunda camisa da seleção brasileira para o vermelho. A seleção é um dos mais expressivos símbolos do nosso país e obviamente que as cores devem estar relacionadas com a bandeira nacional: o verde, o amarelo e o azul celeste, como sempre atuou a nossa gloriosa seleção canarinho”, escreveu o parlamentar.
A cor vermelha, caso confirmada, será dedicada ao segundo uniforma da seleção brasileira para a Copa do Mundo de 2026. Dessa vez, a produção não será feita pela Nike e sim pela Jordan, segundo informação do site inglês Footy Headlines, especializado em camisas de clubes de futebol.
Ainda conforme o site, o tom exato do vermelho e o design completo do uniforme ainda não foram divulgados, mas as primeiras indicações sugerem “uma base vermelha moderna e vibrante”. Esta será a primeira vez que a seleção brasileira usará uma cor diferente de sua bandeira na camisa dos jogadores.
Atualmente, o uniforme número dois da seleção tem detalhes de listras onduladas, com diferentes tons de azul. A nova camisa reserva do Brasil estará disponível a partir de março de 2026.
A seleção brasileira ainda busca a classificação para a Copa do Mundo de 2026. Sem técnico desde a demissão de Dorival Junior, o time está na quarta colocação das Eliminatórias com 21 pontos, 10 a menos que a líder Argentina, e seis a frente da Venezuela, sétimo colocado e atualmente na zona da repescagem.
