O técnico Fernando Diniz é o principal alvo do Vasco para substituir Fábio Carille, demitido no último domingo, no comando da equipe cruz-maltina. Caso a negociação se concretize, o treinador de 51 anos se reencontrará com um personagem com quem ele já teve um desentendimento durante uma partida: o volante Tchê Tchê.
Em janeiro de 2021, quando ainda era treinador do São Paulo, Diniz discutiu com Tchê Tchê e chamou volante de “ingrato” e “mascaradinho” em derrota contra o Bragantino, pelo Campeonato Brasileiro. A discussão foi flagrada no áudio da transmissão da Rede Globo e gerou uma enorme repercussão negativa.
— Seu ingrato do c…, seu perninha do c…, seu mascaradinho. Vai se f… — disse Fernando Diniz para o volante Tchê Tchê.
Dias após o incidente, Fernando Diniz reconheceu o erro e pediu desculpas públicas ao jogador e ao elenco do São Paulo. Em entrevista coletiva após a derrota para o Santos, o comandante afirmou que resolveu o problema internamente e que aquele episódio serviria para melhorar as suas relações com os atletas.
— Tchê Tchê é um problema que começamos a resolver internamente, conversei separadamente com grupo e precisamos andar. Foi um erro que cometi, pedi desculpas para o Tchê Tchê pela exposição e o time. Mas também a culpa tem uma curva que é benéfica e depois te traz prejuízo. É olhar para frente, o momento de crescer mais como time. Aquele episódio serve e servirá para termos relações melhores – afirmou Diniz.
Na época, Tchê Tchê não se pronunciou publicamente sobre a discussão. Posteriormente, em uma entrevista ao podcast PodPah, o volante admitiu ter ficado com uma “raiva incontrolável” e explicou que ficou em silêncio para não atrapalhar a briga do São Paulo pelo título brasileiro — conquista que não acontece desde 2008.
Agora, mais de quatro anos depois, os dois podem se reencontrar no mesmo clube. O Vasco iniciou os primeiros contatos, ontem, para contratar o técnico Fernando Diniz, que vê com bons olhos o retorno ao time cruz-maltino — a primeira passagem foi na Série B de 2021 — sob a administração do presidente Pedrinho.
