O Palmeiras já viajou para disputar mais um jogo em 2025. Nesta quarta (30), o time alviverde estreia na Copa do Brasil. Enfrenta o Ceará, a partir das 19h30 (horário de Brasília), no estádio Arena Castelão, em Fortaleza.
“Estamos viajando muito, estamos tendo muitos jogos fora de casa, mas estamos bem. A equipe está bem. Estamos juntos e vamos enfrentar mais um jogo importante. Vamos fazer de tudo para fazer um bom jogo”, declarou Giay.
De acordo com informações oficiais, a equipe treinada por Abel Ferreira está na iminência de obter reforços. Raphael Veiga, Mayke e Murilo voltaram a treinar com o elenco após se machucarem.
Marcos Rocha segue em processo de recuperação. Ele trabalhou separado do plantel, assim como o atacante Bruno Rodrigues.
Nesse sentido, a provável escalação palmeirense é formada pelos seguintes jogadores: Weverton; Giay, Gustavo Gómez, Benedetti (Bruno Fuchs) e Piquerez; Emiliano Martínez (Aníbal Moreno), Richard Ríos (Lucas Evangelista) e Felipe Anderson; Estêvão, Facundo Torres e Flaco López (Vitor Roque).
“Temos de seguir. Já temos agora de mudar de pensamento porque é uma competição diferente: a Copa do Brasil. Mata-mata. Temos que nos preparar muito bem para buscar um bom resultado na casa deles”, concluiu Giay.

De acordo com informações oficiais, pelo menos 30 mil torcedores já garantiram presença na partida eliminatória.

Conforme o site Globo Esporte, o Ceará terá o retorno de Fabiano Souza. O atleta estava suspenso. No entanto, Bruno Tubarão, Bruno Ferreira e Aylon são desfalques. O trio está machucado.
