Após três rodadas disputadas da fase de grupos, a Libertadores já começa a ver alguns times encaminhando a classificação, enquanto outros terão que brigar até o fim para avançar ao mata-mata.
E os dois primeiros gerais são brasileiros. O Palmeiras é o único time com 100% de aproveitamento, com nove pontos conquistados. O segundo melhor da classificação geral é o São Paulo, que segue invicto na competição.
No programa “Opinião Placar” de hoje, os comentaristas estavam falando sobre as pretensões do São Paulo na temporada e no que o time deveria priorizar. Então, ao falarem sobre focar no Brasileirão, o jornalista Fábio Sormani disse que o time tem chances de vencer a Libertadores, até pelo fraco nível dos adversários.
“Eu acho que dá para ganhar a Libertadores. Olha o Flamengo como está na competição. Esse já é o terceiro ano seguido do Flamengo sem fazer uma grande campanha. O Palmeiras é o melhor, está 100%, mas dá para encarar o Palmeiras, no Paulistão foi eliminado com um pênalti que não foi. Ano passado caiu para o Botafogo nos pênaltis”, disse.
“Na Argentina tem quem? O Racing? Não está jogando bem. O River Plate tem camisa, mas também não está tão bem. Dá para sonhar, acho que dá sim. E o São Paulo tem time para ser campeão”, completou Sormani.
Vampeta também aposta em surpresa
No programa “Bate-Pronto”, exibido pela Jovem Pan, o comentarista Vampeta também colocou o São Paulo como uma possível surpresa na Libertadores.
Na opinião dele, Palmeiras, Flamengo e River Plate são os principais favoritos, mas o Tricolor tem chance de ser campeão, relembrando também a eliminação nos pênaltis para o Botafogo no ano passado.

Em busca do tetracampeonato da competição continental, o São Paulo lidera o grupo D com 7 pontos, tendo duas vitórias e um empate.
Além do clube paulista, o grupo ainda conta com o Talleres (ARG), Alianza Lima (PER) e Libertad (PAR). O próximo jogo na competição acontece no dia 6 de maio (terça), às 19h (de Brasília), diante do Alianza Lima, fora de casa.
