Cicinho saiu em defesa do Maringá acerca da polêmica de arbitragem registrada no duelo do time do Paraná contra o Atlético-MG, nesta terça-feira (29), pela terceira fase da Copa do Brasil. Na avaliação dele, o clube tem razão ao reclamar de uma penalidade não assinalada no empate de 2 a 2.

A jogada em questão se deu na disputa entre Cuello e Gustavo Vilar. O defensor do Galo acabou puxando o jogador adversário dentro da área. A árbitra Charly Wendy Straub Deretti, responsável pelo VAR, aconselhou Denis Serafim ir para o vídeo, mas o dono do apito não marcou pênalti ao rever o lance.

“A arbitragem no Brasil hoje é fraca, prejudicou muito a equipe do Maringá que poderia ter levado um resultado de 3 a 2 que seria uma tranquilidade, mas o Atlético-MG conseguiu achar esse empate e tem totais condições de vencer em Belo Horizonte”, complementou o ex-jogador.

Em post feito nas redes sociais, o Maringá ficou na bronca com a não marcação da penalidade, e deu uma alfinetada na equipe responsável pelo apito, em especial o árbitro Denis Serafim.

Ainda comentando sobre a partida, Cicinho avaliou a fase do Atlético-MG e condicionou o cenário de oscilação aos inúmeros problemas que a equipe vem enfrentando em termos de lesões no departamento médico.

“O Atlético-MG com altos e baixos né. Na verdade, mais baixo do que alto. Acredito que deve-se ao alto índice de jogadores lesionados. O Cuca está tentando encontrar a equipe ideal. O Galo toma muitos gols também e vai precisar demais (rendimento)”, avaliou o ex-jogador.
