Flávio Prado repercutiu a desistência de Carlo Ancelotti do convite feito pela seleção brasileira. A negociação inicialmente encaminhada teve uma reviravolta e foi encerrada ontem (29).
A razão principal foi a negativa do Real Madrid em pagar a multa rescisória ao técnico italiano, que possui contrato com os espanhóis até a metade de 2026. Além disso, Ancelotti teria uma proposta melhor do futebol árabe.

O comentarista da Jovem Pan se mostrou contrariado com a busca da CBF por um técnico estrangeiro. Assim, deixou clara a sua preferência por um treinador do Brasil, citando Rogério Ceni como o nome ideal para o ciclo do Mundial seguinte ao de 2026.
“Eu começaria um novo trabalho com um técnico brasileiro, tipo Rogério Ceni, alguém desse porte visando até 2030”, opinou Flávio Prado em seu comentário diário nas redes sociais, fazendo menção ao técnico do Bahia.
Para o veterano jornalista, nomes como Jorge Jesus e Abel Ferreira não possuem prestígio internacional por não terem trabalhado em grandes clubes do futebol mundial na sua visão.
“Fizeram bons trabalhos aqui no Brasil, mas me parece muito pouco”, pontuou, complementando: “O Brasil deverá ter um técnico português. Mas não tem alguma coisa errada aí, não? O Brasil que costumava levar grandes técnicos para as seleções de Portugal”.
Assim, o debatedor se mostrou pessimista com o eventual trabalho dos técnicos portugueses no escrete canarinho. “A seleção parece que vai nesse caminho, não acredito muito que dê certo”, observou.

Por fim, Flávio Prado se mostrou aliviado com a nota oficial da CBF negando a camisa vermelha que seja utilizada como o segundo uniforme do Brasil na Copa do Mundo.
“Aquela palhaçada da camisa vermelha não deverá sair e o Brasil vai continuar com as suas cores tradicionais”, frisou.
