Am Wochenende kommt die Formel E nach Europa: In Monaco wird Rennspektakel zum ersten Mal in seiner Geschichte als Double-Header ausgetragen.
Die Meisterschaft war in der ersten Saison bereits in Monaco zu Gast – jedoch auf einer kürzeren Version der weltberühmten Strecke. Seit Saison 7 fährt die Formel E auf der Strecke in voller Länge. Das Rennen damals war ein großer Erfolg und gilt als eines der besten Rennen in der 11-jährigen Geschichte der Serie.

Auch in Monaco kommt wieder der Pit Boost zum Einsatz!
Zum ersten Mal wurde die neue Technologie in Saudi-Arabien eingesetzt: Bei einem obligatorischen Boxenstopp werden die Rennwagen mit einem 600-kW-Lader mit 3,85 kWh aufgeladen. Sie haben also zehn Prozent mehr Energie zur Verfügung.
