Cardinals’ Iván Herrera records slugging feat never accomplished by a catcher in franchise history
Imagn Images Iván Herrera on Wednesday became the first catcher in St. Louis Cardinals franchise history to hit three home runs in a game. In all, the 24-year-old Herrera went 3 for 4 with a walk, six RBI, and three runs scored in the Cardinals' 12-5 win over the Los Angeles Angels in the series finale at Busch Stadium.
