Agora, o próximo desafio é o Internacional de Roger Machado, na Neo Química Arena, no sábado (3), às 18h30 (de Brasília). O Corinthians vem de derrota por 4 a 0 diante o Flamengo de Filipe Luís na competição e precisa dar a volta por cima para não se aproximar da zona de rebaixamento.
Dorival Júnior tem uma carreira de sucesso
Ao assumir o Alvinegro da capital, Dorival concretiza o que poucos treinadores conseguiram na história do futebol: trabalhar nos quatro grandes clubes do estado de São Paulo.
No Santos, ele foi campeão da Copa do Brasil e Paulistão em 2010 e comandou uma equipe histórica com Neymar, Paulo Henrique Ganso e outros. O técnico retornou ao clube da baixada em 2015 e foi vice-campeão da Copa do Brasil, além do título Paulista em 2016.
No SPFC, o comandante também fez história ao conquistar a inédita Copa do Brasil na história do time do MorumBIS, no ano de 2023. Meses depois, no começo de 2024, ele aceitou proposta da seleção brasileira e interrompeu o trabalho no Tricolor.
No Palmeiras, por sua vez, Dorival Júnior não conquistou taças, mas foi o responsável por livrar o Verdão do rebaixamento em 2014.
Exaltado por Craque Neto, o ex-seleção fez sucesso em outros clubes, como por exemplo no Flamengo, onde foi campeão da Copa Libertadores da América e Copa do Brasil em 2022.
