El sueño del sorprendente Djurgarden en la Conference League prácticamente llego a su final. Esta noche el conjunto sueco se encontró con un Chelsea que sin ser espectacular terminó recetándole un contundente 1-4 que deja sentenciada la eliminatoria a falta de la vuelta en Stamford Bridge.

Jadon Sancho abre la cuenta para los ‘blues’ tras un preciso centro de Enzo Fernández y una definición que no pudo ser bloqueada por Danielsson.

A pesar del gran recibimiento de su afición y el entusiasmo de los primeros minutos, el Djurgarden se encontró de golpe con la evidente diferencia de niveles entre la Liga sueca y la Premier League. A los 12′, los ‘blues’ ya lo ganaban después de que Enzo Fernández conectara con Sancho y el ex Dortmund y Manchester United definiera tras enganchar en el área.

La primera parte se diluyó con el dominio de los ingleses, que no pasaron ningún apuro y antes del descanso encontraron el 2-0. Una vez más, Enzo Fernández tomaba el esférico para esta vez asistir a Madueke, que le pegó de primera y estiraba la ventaja para los londinenses.

Eliminatoria sentenciada

Al regresar del vestuario, Maresca sorprendió haciendo cuatro cambios de golpe. El goleador Madueke, el capitán Enzo Fernández, Reece James y Cucurella salieron del verde para dar paso a Palmer, Chalobah, Caicedo y Jackson, que terminó siendo la gran figura en la parte de complemento.

Nuevamente el senegalés se hacía presente en el marcador al 65′, esta vez con un espectacular golazo que sentenciaba al Djurgarden.

Alemayehu, nada más entrar al partido, define de cabeza y recorta distancias para un Djurgarden.

Alemayehu, que llevaba apenas unos minutos sobre el verde, maquilló la goleada con un sensacional cabezazoque sorprendió a Jorgensen al 68′. A pesar de su insistencia en seguir recortando distancias, el Djurgarden finalmente terminó sufriendo un doloroso 1-4 que prácticamente termina con su sueño de alcanzar la final de Breslavia. Por su parte, el Chelsea de Maresca mantiene la ilusión de ser el primer club en conquistar los tres principales torneos europeos.
