The Premier League fixture between Manchester City and Bournemouth has been moved to Tuesday, May 20 due to City’s participation in the FA Cup final three days prior.
Fellow FA Cup finalists Crystal Palace, meanwhile, will face Wolverhampton Wanderers on the same evening. The two matches were originally slated for Sunday, May 18, but had to be moved with the FA Cup final set to take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 17.

The implications for City mean they will know the results of their Champions League rivals’ penultimate matches of the campaign before they kick off against Bournemouth. Pep Guardiola’s side are currently fourth in the Premier League table, just one point ahead of sixth-placed Nottingham Forest and a single point behind third-placed Newcastle.
Chelsea, who currently occupy the final Champions League spot, face Manchester United on Friday, May 16. The fixture was rearranged in April due to being selected for television broadcast, while also avoiding a clash with the Women’s FA Cup final. Forest, meanwhile, face West Ham on the Sunday, while Newcastle meet Arsenal later that day.
City progressed to their third consecutive FA Cup final with a 2-0 victory against Forest on Sunday. Rico Lewis and Josko Gvardiol scored either side of half-time to keep Guardiola’s side in contention for their first trophy of the season.
Palace, meanwhile, secured a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in the semi-final with Ismaila Sarr’s brace and an Eberechi Eze goal.
City’s match against Bournemouth will serve as Kevin De Bruyne’s final home match for the club. The Belgian announced in April he will leave the Etihad after 10 years at the club.
Discussions remain ongoing over the Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur fixture scheduled for Sunday, May 18.
The Athletic reported last week that Villa were objecting to the match being rearranged, after Spurs said in a statement they were in discussions with the Premier League to have the fixture moved. The Europa League final, which Ange Postecoglou’s side could be in, takes place in Bilbao on Wednesday, May 21.
