Após recusa do técnico Carlo Ancelotti, a CBF segue buscando um técnico para a seleção brasileira, tendo os portugueses Abel Ferreira e Jorge Jesus como os nomes mais falados.
No “Arena SBT” de ontem, o jornalista Mauro Beting disse que a entidade já chegou a consultar o Palmeiras em relação ao seu treinador. Ele deixa claro que não há negociações no momento, apenas uma conversa inicial.
“Sobre o Abel, já teriam contactado. Até onde eu sei, perguntaram para o jurídico como é o distrato dele com o Palmeiras, como seria isso. E a Leila ficou louca, como era de se esperar. Então, a CBF teria consultado para saber como está a condição jurídica dele”, disse.
Abel Ferreira não aceitaria
Na sequência, Mauro Beting informa que se realmente vier uma proposta oficial da CBF, a tendência é que o treinador recuse. O jornalista disse que ele só deixaria o Palmeiras para dirigir uma seleção, se fosse a de Portugal.
“A informação que eu tenho já de algum tempo é que o Abel só sai do Palmeiras para assumir uma seleção, se for a seleção de Portugal, que é o sonho da vida dele. O Abel não aceitaria um convite da seleção brasileira. Então, pode haver o convite, mas é dificílimo o Abel trocar o Palmeiras pela seleção do Brasil. Se vier proposta da CBF ele não vai, ele faria mais ou menos como o Muricy Ramalho fez em 2010”, informou o comunicador.
Alguns nomes da mídia esportiva já se mostraram favoráveis a ter Abel Ferreira no comando da seleção brasileira, como Milton Neves e Muller, por exemplo.

O Brasil volta a campo no início do mês que vem para dois compromissos pelas Eliminatórias. No dia 4 de junho, encara o Equador, fora de casa. Depois, no dia 9, recebe o Paraguai, ainda sem local definido.
