Bill Belichick‘s life after football was supposed to be low-key-retirement, a new book, and time away from the spotlight, but thanks to his relationship with 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, that plan has taken a sharp turn.
The pair has unexpectedly become the center of online attention, and now fans are throwing out an even wilder idea: putting them on the cover of Madden 26.
It all started when a beach photo resurfaced from their March vacation in Jupiter, Florida. In it, Hudson is seen lifted in the air during a playful acro yoga pose with Belichick holding her steady.
The moment went viral again when ML Football posted a mock-up of the picture on X (formerly Twitter), cheekily asking, “SHOULD BILL BELICHICK BE THE COVER OF MADDEN 26…?”
While the suggestion was clearly tongue-in-cheek, the internet ran with it. Fans flooded the post with excited reactions, GIFs, and even support for the unlikely idea.
Though Belichick, who never joined the NFL Coaches Association, has never been featured in the Madden video game franchise, that didn’t stop speculation. The timing, it turns out, couldn’t have been better.
Madden cover talk fuels more Belichick-Hudson buzz
This renewed attention came just days after Hudson made headlines for interrupting Belichick’s CBS Sunday Morning interview, stepping in when the conversation turned toward their relationship.
In a now-famous clip, host Tony Dokoupil asked how they met. Hudson quickly cut him off, replying, “I’m not talking about this.”
Belichick later defended her actions, explaining on April 30, “I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning – Lessons from My Life in Football… Jordon… stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.”
Not everyone in Belichick‘s orbit approved. His daughter-in-law Jen criticized comedian Nikki Glaser, who had defended Hudson by comparing her actions to a PR rep.
Jen clapped back online, saying, “Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview.”
But the Madden chatter has given Hudson a new narrative. With her entry into the Miss Maine USA 2025 competition, her media profile is on the rise.
The playful idea of her appearing on a video game cover-even if unofficial-only adds to the buzz. And Belichick? He seems unfazed by critics, happy to share the spotlight with someone who’s clearly captured his attention.
From red carpet appearances to beachside yoga to dominating headlines, Belichick and Hudson‘s unconventional story continues to captivate. Whether or not they ever make it onto a Madden cover, they’ve already made their mark far outside the football field.
